Having read a lot of the reviews, my wife and I decided on an earliest start so arrived at the cable car just after 10:30am. No queue so we paid around £30 total for returns, deciding to purchase additional attractions if we felt we wanted...More

Cable car is in my opinion the best way how to get to the top of The Rock. But the prize is really high. We went up in first car that day and we traveled with guys transported some food to up. Half of floor...More

The cable car ride to the top of the Rock of Gibraltar was only six minutes. The cable or tram car is not large, fairly narrow. I heard that they are planning to replace the current tram cars with bigger ones, which they should do....More

I pre-booked our tickets knowing we were stopping here on our cruise. Didn’t have long in port so got a taxi to the cable care which cost just over £4. Got there about 11am so didn’t have too long to wait for cable car, about...More

The trip to the top of the rock was quick and you get to see some amazing views. People are packed in the car because they're so busy, but that wasn't an issue for us. We were advised to carry back backs in front of...More

I did this trip as my family were desperate to see the monkeys. I closed my eyes the whole way up but upon arrival it has to be said that the views on top of the rock are amazing. It was surprising to see soooo...More

We were travelling with a baby (4 months) and a 2.5 yo.  Our 2.5 yo walked most of it while the baby was in a baby carrier. I wouldn’t advise to use a buggy apart from a pockit one. We pre booked the tickets online...More

We arrived early at about 9 am to avoid the queues, waited about 10 mins. Was a quick ride, we paid for the caves also, well worth it, remember arrive early as queues were down the road when we came back

Not only do you pay an exorbitant price for the ride to the top of the rock, there is an additional charge for walking down. Before you queue for an hour or more be clear about the total price your excursion will cost ~ and...More

Can't argue about the view and the ride is quite smooth and reassuring. Bit of a wait to get on despite pre-booked tickets. Half an hour walking slowly up lots of steps. Not for people with mobility problems but definitely better than walking all the...More

When you arrive you can call a taxi to save time. They come quickly and do not charge too much. They run on a meter starting at about £4.70. Probably won't you more than £7

Not worth taking cable car down because it doesn't always stop at the half way station. Even then, it is a fair walk from there. Might as well just walk from the top. It's about 20 minutes and mainly downhill
