Don’t even think about not visiting the top of Rock if you in Gibraltar. Whizz up in the cable car or take a steady walk. I was so lucky to have beautiful January sunshine and the view was just stunning. It’s great to be able...More

The monkeys. Everyone wants to visit the monkeys. And they are fun and enjoyable. Gives us a small taste of wildlife. Nature. The Rock itself is always worth a visit. Take a taxi tour, the best way to see the sights and meet the monkeys....More

We were staying between Marbella and Estepona and decided to take the city bus from Estepona rather than driving the hour. The bus took about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The bus ride allowed us all to see the area rather than worrying about finding...More

Great place to explore. You can either just go up and back on the cable car to enjoy the wondeful views OR take the cable car up and walk to the various points. It's a lovely walk and a fabulous way to explore The Rock....More

Lovely ride in the cable car, just be careful of the cheeky monkeys as they love to check out your bags and lovely sight from the cafe.

We enjoyed a day tour whilst in the area. Loads of history. It would be spectacular to see a concert performance in St Michael’s Cave. You can get up close with the tailless Barbary Macaque monkeys but don’t feed them.

We caught the cable car to the top as we had a reservation at the restaurant and this gives you free access. Trip quick, easy and reassuringly safe! Stunning views on the way up & even better at the top! Restaurant is stunning- elegant yet...More

I was pleasantly surprised by the rock. I only had a couple of hours so I missed things like caves, but I had a lovely time climbing the steps, seeing monkeys, and enjoying the views.

We arrived at Gibraltar via cruise ship. And, we thought it would be a short walk to the top. HA! Save time and download a walking map before you go. The way is not necessarily marked. Many others taxied uphill as my husband thought we...More

We bought ours at the cable car base. If you don't want to go by cable car there are touring taxis that can take you to the top. You can either catch them outside the cable car entrance or you can get one in the middle of... More
