If you like a quiet ,you should go by 10am,you can see any shops take your time. after that so many tourists walking around the narrow main street. It is not easy walk and difficult to get the seat at the restaurant.

It's a street with run of the mill high street names and don't be fooled by prices... You can certainly buy cheaper elsewhere...

Wandered up the Main Street on September 8th, 2 days before Gibraltar's National Day. Bunting and flags everywhere and the citizens already in holiday spirit! Lovely atmosphere, a variety of shopping outlets especially jewellers.

Main St is where we stopped for lunch at The Royal Calpe. Would recommend. Every shop imaginable. It’s warm, friendly and the people in the shops are welcoming.

A pleasant shopping area full of jewellers, souvenier and duty free shops. Approximately 15 minutes walk from the Spanish border.

Marvellous selection of shops, all types, very busy. Good that it's all pedestrianised, but watch out for mopeds along side streets.

This really is a great place to shop . Somethings in Gib are more expensive. Be carefully some shops will charge 20 odd percent for the same thing . But lots of bargains . Take your time

It is definetly worth a visit to go to the top of Gibraltar. I don't know where the cruiserships stops, but I'm sure there will be plenty of oppurtunities to get there.
