We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you are driving a rented car, make sure you also have certification of international car insurance coverage or you will be turned away at the border - as we were after all the waiting. Made-up for the disappointment by having a terrific sea food lunch along the Moroccan coast.

Late morning and plenty of people coming and going at the entrance so could not resist going in and having a look. Could then see why it was fairly busy as there were plenty of stalls selling foods mainly. Nothing spectacular but we always like to see aspects of local life.

Indoor market for Ceuta- not the prettiest market you will have seen but full of fresh produce- fish, seafood, meat, fruit and vegetables, nuts and olives.

Not large (well, neither is Ceuta...) - but an interesting selection of shops, mostly produce. Looks fairly clean and organized.

I too found many shops shut - don't know if it was time of day, day of week.... Still worth a visit.

Although this was an old building of character, most of the stalls were shut. This was mid-week. Maybe it was early closing-we don't know.

Visiting Mercado Cental gives you a view of life in Ceuta.
However, there is nothing special about this market.

We walked through the market to get a sense of local life for those who want to buy fresh fish and produce. It takes a little bit of time to get olfactory fatigue from the strong smell of fish, but don't miss a visit to this local market.

The volume of fresh seafood - fish, shrimp, mussels, clams, rays - is phenomenal.

Beautiful produce on display.and a very busy market.
