Really enjoyed our visit to this small museum. We were most interested in 20th century stuff and found this section of the museum to be very informative.

A small museum telling the history of Girona. Not a lot to see but immaculately presented with commentary boards in English. Entrance only €4. You can then get a discount off of other museums in the group , so worth a detour to take advantage.

We visited here on the 27 December 2017 and received a great welcome from the young lady on reception, she explained very clearly, in English, how to interpret the museum and it’s artifacts. We found the museum very interesting and it gave one a good...More

Extra friendly and helpful lady in reception but place it self did not offer anything if you can't read Catalan. Lady told that English texts are coming this year.

The museum is modern and accessible. However, if you don't read Catalan there is not enough explanation of the many interesting things on exhibit. The building is very interesting (a former monastery) and the exhibits well presented. But, unfortunately we could not appreciate the City's...More

Girona is a fantastic city, small and very romantic. I am not into museums but this one is a good starting point. Once you get to know the museum which is very rich in history, go all over the city!

Firstly, we didn't know about the TiquetM6 Museum Pass which gets you half price off the other 5 once you've paid full at the first: we would have done more museums if we'd known! This museum is a bit of a curate's egg, they've attempted...More
