Had lunch at a lakeside cafe here. The decking extends out over the water giving you pretty views up and down the lake. Motor boats are banned from the lake and several areas are reserved for swimming, making it very family friendly.

Ten of us cycled from Girona to the lake. There is a great little restaurant with wonderful seating on the water's edge as well as on a dock. We all had coffee & food on the dock, great table service, comfy chairs with big umbrellas...More

Lovely bus trip from Girona to the lake. Had a stroll around the lake in the sunshine (wish we'd brought swimming gear as the water looked so clear). Well worth the trip as getting out of the City was rejuvenating.

This lake is not only beautiful but is also quite and full of natural life, such as ducks and lots of fish. It is allow to fish in some places and regulated. I do not like this but for you fish aficionado may be interesting....More

It's perfect is the day it's not too windy. If you make the full round may take less than 2 hours. You could park for free very near and also could enjoy a vermut at the dock
