Avenue Diagonal crosses Barcelona and is a major street and is worth visiting. It has some up-market areas and more historic areas as it gets to the water.This is one of the better streets in Barcelona and is wide and tree lined and worth walking

Avinguda Diagonal is the widest and one of the most important avenues in Barcelona! A wide tree-lined 11km long boulevard with interesting building and stores. A lot of benches around the area for you to sit, relax and enjoy the atmosphere!

A beautiful tree-lined street if one needs to walk or even drive along it; however, it is not worth walking or driving along for the sake of it, there are more interesting streets such as Passeig de Gracia and La Rambla.
