I absolutely recommend a visit to Park Guell, and the private tour was a huge enhancement to our visit. With the private tour you get access to the restricted monument section of the park. The guide is able to give you the history and stories behind each piece of Gaudi work and the park itself. My favorite attraction to visit in Barcelona was the park, so unique! Sagrada Familia a close second. After the work, we walked to see three of Gaudi's houses/buildings in the city. Seeing the exteriors was sufficient for us, and they all had very unique architectural designs to say the least.…

We arrived to see Park Guell around 10:30 AM and, despite what the guide books said, a paid admission reservation was needed and there were no openings until around 4:00 PM that same day. However, we were advised that if we arrived before 8:00 AM the park was open to the public for free for self guided visiting. So, we came back the next morning and enjoyed a pleasant quiet beautiful visit in the early morning sun.…
