It was very surreal to walk around the city one day, go to the mountains the next and then visit the beach on my final day. It was still 18 degrees in the middle of December and made the lovely walk along the promenade even...More

This is the original port of the city. Too many things to list, but loads of restaurants, sea views and aerial access to the fort. Boat tours available as well. You could spend several hours here.

The beach was very normal. There was nothing special about it. It was good that it was many tropical bars to watch the view. It was a little irritating that everyone was selling some fake stuff but it was okay.

We stayed not to far away from here and had dinner at one of the many restaurants around the marina. It’s stunning on an evening with all the lights from the restaurants and bars. Very chilled out ! Best seafood too! There’s a casino and...More

An interesting quarter to the beach of Barcelona. The streets are narrow, there are many restaurants - restaurants and bars, and in the summer it is always full of people.

Not many people venture down to this area of Barcelona in its proper form -away from all the water-lined tourist traps. Go explore these tiny streets, chat with some of the locals and learn the history of this area.
