Go for a stroll in El Born and see the Arc de Triomf. Go early to miss it getting congested with tourists, and take some shots from the far side to get a tree in the pic, it's stunning!

Arc is situated approx 20 mins walking from Catalunya. One of many symbols of Barcelona. Usually crowded with visitors, performers etc. Worth visiting both during the day and night.

The Arc de Triomf is situated in a very nice park with unique lamps and iron work. There is a large park on the opposite end as well.

If you appreciate good architecture, you’ll like the Arc. It’s really beautiful, and set in a lovely palm lined park. Really nice. There were people practising roller blading, and a guy with some giant bubbles, just made the park fun, family friendly. Also located next...More

This is an impressive building but not really worth a trip on its own. You can walk under and around it and take photographs. There is usually a lot of activity in the adjacent pedestrian walkways and park so it is busy. Best seen as...More

The arc is an interesting piece of architecture. Just 15 minute walk from the gothic quarter, worth going to for the photos.

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you
enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally
translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes

Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end
international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the
glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best

During our travels in Barcelona, we had no indication of a market at the Arc de Triomf. However we did see energetic kids on skateboards, an acrobat on roller skates and families enjoying the sunshine.
