Although we are not fans of La Rambla, we always visit Escriba. For excellent waffles and desserts, wonderful refreshing white wine and tasty coffee. For gourmands :-)

As a bit of a dessert aficionado, I was really looking forward to eating at this place after walking past it a number of times. However, from the moment we walked in the staff were rude, cold and not interested in serving us. The girl...More

A nice and conveniently located cafe for a good afternoon tea. A good selection of pastries but I find the orange sponge cake very simple but has great flavours. The place is a little small though.

Great old place that serves fantastic gourmet sweets along with great coffee! The shop is beautiful and located in an old corner building surrounded with awesome stained glass. So nice to get out of the busy touristy Las Ramblas to relax and enjoy a coffee.

We stumbled across this cafe after taking the obligatory walk through and near La Boqueria and La Rambla and, up until that point, not feeling particularly good about any other place we had seen for a light breakfast. Escriba Rambla was great. It felt genuine...More

Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry
