About
We are two happy sisters. Both made a big change in our professional careers looking for something more exiting. ❀ Carmen ❝I am very foodie & passionate cook. I love teaching my guests how to make a very authentic and delicious Paella❞ ❀ Angels ❝I am a Professional Chef, with lot of background, working for a Michelin star restaurant and some celebrities in London❞ We decided to join our energies and started a project in common, our dreamed kitchen, where we love meeting new people and sharing our culture and passion for cooking. Would yo like to learn how to cook a real Sangria, Paella and Catalan Cream with the Foodie Sisters? Looking forward to meet you! ☺

Who is not a foodie? Our guide Owen was knowledgeable and fun, and informed us of food facts and local politics, as we walked through the market and to the ten or so spots we stopped to enjoy food like a local. We had an entire variety of foods and drinks unique to Barcelona. Cava for breakfast, both types of spanish ham, spinach and egg sandwiches, the tapas created in Barcelona, the bomba, sweet nougats, another local favorite, spicy vermouth, and of course paella. If you have not visited Spain, now is the time, there are very few crowds and they don't expect the tourists to fully return until the summer of 2023.

I visited Spain just before the pandemic with adult family and friends. One of the best evenings in Barcelona was Carmen’s Cooking Class.
What an outstanding experience.
Highly recommend it to all travelers.
Not only did we learn the how to make the best paella, sangria, Catalan cream, tomato bread; but we were in the company of other travelers in Carmen’s kitchen.
It was like having a big family meal with friends from around the world.
A perfect experience for travelers who enjoy local cuisine and cooking.

A perfect activity to do while in Barcelona! Carmen is an amazing teacher; she is kind, knowledgable, and very engaging. The class began with a comprehensive and interesting tour of La Boqueria. It was great to get reliable information about the best shops and best tapas in the market from an experienced local. In the cooking class she explained all the recipes carefully and then designated tasks to everyone in the class. so we each had something to do. The class included sangria, appetizers, dessert, and of course, paella. We were all able to watch and participate in the paella cooking, and it turned out SO good. It was such a fun and delicious experience! There were many couples in the class, but I attended with my sister and friend and I had a great time. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who's staying in Barcelona!

My friends and I did this cooking class while we were on spring break in Barcelona, and it was the highlight of our trip! Carmen was a fantastic host and did everything she could to make it the best experience for all of the guests. It was wonderful that we all got to participate in the cooking, and the food was absolutely delicious. This experience is a must-do if you like cooking, eating, and learning about other cultures!

Fun, great food and an unforgettable experience is what we enjoyed with Angeles of The Foodie Experience. Not only did we learn proper technique for making tapas, cooking paella, crema Catalan and sangria but we have made friends and learned much more about the area’s food and history. We highly recommend taking this cooking class. Come hungry! Lots to eat.... thank you Angeles ! Volveremos

We had an exceptional experience learning about paella, sangria, tapas and dessert. This was money well spent and definitely worth experiencing as a family. Our kids were included by Angel and her teaching style and personality was so inclusive to everyone present. She also gave good restaurant recommendations.
