I felt like it was more of a Museum than a Cathedral. It was difficult to find where Mass was being celebrated. However, the Cathedral and Cloister were beautiful and had many items and features that were very interesting to see
This is an incredible building and the story of it construction and later restoration is amazing. To be in such excellent condition today after the centuries is fantastic.
Lots to see, the audio guide is informative, the stained glass stunning. Allow at least 45 minutes.
Absolutely stunning cathedral. The audio guide gives loads of information. About 1 hour to take the full tour of the Gothic building. Unbelievable that during the short construction period, the city of Leon counted only 5,000 souls.
Knock out interior! English audio guide is a must as it is a perfect way to hear and learn about this amazing building. I could spill out here all the things we loved about this Cathedral but the best thing is to go look yourself....More
I didnt expect much from this cathedral but it was very beautiful from outside and inside. I especially loved to have a coffee sitting on the stairs here. Half of this cathedral was under construction but still it was a great experience during my pilgrimage.
The Cathedral is imposing and very beautiful.
The price to visit is 6€ per person, although the prices are lower for students, disabled people and some others. It includes an audioguide in some european languages and magazine with information of the Cathedral.
