The only museum of its kind in Spain which shows, in a superb setting (an Islamic Cave X century), a collection of pieces, texts, characters and symbols that have been part of the customs, legends, traditions and superstitions various peoples who inhabited the Iberian Peninsula and the two archipelagos.

Is this an idea of a joke? Ugly fake "devilish" dolls and some styrophoam replicas of some old artefacts not necessarily representing Spain in any way. Waste of even those two euros. No hay servicios.

Delightful little museum close to Toledo Cathedral describing Spanish customs and the history of this ancient cave. Well worth the €2 entrance fee.

The staff do did advise that the exhibition is only in Spanish and that they are hoping to get it fully translated in to English later in the year. But if you have a good understanding of Spanish this is well worth your time. If...More

This is a fascinating and delightful place. It's tiny, but the original 9th century hand of Fatima wall painting and the architecture of the two story Moorish cave house more than compensates for that - and very welcoming.

Unusual place to visit. You will read and hear local fairy tales, mysteries, fantastic legends, curiosities and surprises. The museum is located in a X century Islamic cave.
