Not particularly photogenic and lined with fast food outlets and jaded touristic cafes, this is where you most likely start your exploration. Most of the free walking tours start from here.

And so should you meet up here too as the plaza accesses great little restaurants including Restaurante Ludena and Cervezaria Trebol. Also Starbucks around the corner. Also the Plaza is close to the top sites ... just around the corner.

Plaza is not massive and nothing significant to want to get your camera out.
Very busy as it’s the first thing you get to when you come up the escalator.
The main use of the square is a meeting point for tours really.
I originally was going to stay in Toledo for only the day, but was so enraptured with the town that renting a room at a hotel and staying the night was my only option to really embrace the city the way I wanted to.
