There is a waterfront promenade. Wear comfortable shoes and prepare to walk a lot. There is not much to see and few places to eat. Best to continue to the center for restaurants.

Not been here before, but I'm going back. Small complex, beautifully maintained gardens, really friendly onsite staff, and some lovely bungalows. Great views from every property and so handy to shops and some restaurants, yet so peaceful and quiet. Not a venue for stag nights...More

The marina in the center of the city of Santander. A nice place to walk. Beautiful view of the Bay of Santander.

Walk (not drive) to Puerto Chico as the walk along the seafront is rather nice. The marina is has no longer any historical 'old' feel to it. That is a shame as the history is interesting.

This is a nice, wide, sidewalk by the marina. There are some interesting statues and some benches to sit. Plenty of boats to look at coming and going from the marina and the bay.

You can spend a lovely couple of hours here just watching the yachts and boats potter about. There are some great seats to relax on and in the sunshine it is a good place to be. It is a short walk back into the town.
