Walked along this tree lined avenue during our day visit to Santa Cruz. Typical of this type of street layout in Spanish cites the central reservation is pedestrianised with cars travelling along both sides. In terms of traffic it’s very busy, actually not great for your health/ breathing really. Although quite scenic there’s not a lot there , a few Resturaunt sand kiosks but not much else. No comparison with Barcelona.....…

Horrendous. Nothing to do. Too laidback and nowhere for tanning tees las Americas is far better for stuff to do even though it’s pretty shocking itself. Would urge no one to come here!

Rambla in traveler's mind recalls for Barcelona an that famous street full of life, great architecture and famous buildings along her. Don't expect that here in Santa Cruz but rather a quiet street with benches and tree shade to cool down in peace.
