This is a beautiful place, so green. We managed to park on the road quite close to the entrance gate. It’s free to get in but I think the gates are locked after 6pm. I stupidly decided to wear my flip flops on the day...More

At €3 per person this is well worth a visit. We spent a couple of hours wandering the gardens looking at the exotic trees, plants and flowers. As we went in October we possibly missed a lot of flowers that may have been flowering in...More

Loved our visit. So many plants and trees to see. Escape to the cool and tranquil gardens on a hot day to recuperate.

After climbing up the hill from the town below we entered this amazing garden. It was full of blooms and gorgeous trees. My wife and I had a great experience which lasted over two hours of great photo opportunities. We even FaceTimed a friend back...More

Not a large park, but we were impressed by the variety of fauna and the spectacular nature of many of the plants. You could imagine yourself in Tarzan’s jungle. One plant closed up when you touched the leaves. There were beautiful red dragon flies around...More

Only 3 Euros each to visit a very pleasant and interesting garden. Toilet facilities but no cafe but we went to the restaurant opposite the entrance which was very good !

Had a lovely walk around the botanic gardens. Some of the trees in particular were amazing and presumably date back to the gardens foundation in the 18th century as an "aclimitization" garden for Spanish explorers bringing back exotic tropical plants.

A most enjoyable half-day spent in this small but beautiful gardens. Excellent variety of tropical plants, plenty of colour and lots to see. Gardens well maintained and very peaceful.

When I was there ( last February) they were charging €4 for a visitor and €2 for a local . At home in Ireland we don't charge for entry to Botanic Gardens or Museums. Maybe we should start now !
