If you want to rave at parties - I recommend you don't go here. A good pair of shoes for the hills and a pair of plastic shoes for the sea. Very tranquil with just the sound of the sea and the outlook of the...More

This quaint and quiet place is a haven for peace and quiet. But like most places it has been hit by recession , with very few amenities left. It is early March and out of season ... there is no “little shop” and just a...More

Stayed here for 4 nights in an apartment overlooking the sea. Not full of tourists, mainly locals visiting for the day and to eat. Fairly good fish restaurants, reasonably priced.

Nice place that's away from the tourist areas, it's a little in need of a make over but it's worth a visit for the beech and adjacent restaurants.

We came here for lunch, at the Tasca La Chalana. We hadn't explored this nook, between Icod and Garachico, but it is a great little fishing port, with a beach and several cafés. The sea was dramatic and the swimming looked good.

This place is divine! I would love to come back in the summer as it was chilly when we went!. The restaurants around it are not great though. I suggest going to icod de los Vinos for food and drinks.

Tucked away little beach, ideal for a lunch stop away from the crowds. Free parking and a handful of restaurants to choose from overlooking the sea.
