Arrecife is often overlooked by visitors and it's worth a visit. It has a good beach with sunbeds and is never over busy. There are a few Restuarants at the rear of the beach for a drink or a bite to eat

Great beach for sunbathing and swimming the sea. Sun beds and umbrellas very well priced. Shops, snack bars, restaurants and places to sit for a drink and watch the world go by.

An impressive long sandy beach with crystal clear sea - we were there at midday, midweek in late August and, surprisingly it was almost empty (great for the views along the coast). Later in the afternoon it was notably busier.

I just love walking along the promenade, looking at the gorgeous golden sand with its palm trees, and blue sea. The sand is raked every day, and always looks so well kept and pristine.

Sun loungers cheap, sheltered from the wind, white sand and clear water, bars and restaurants nearby if a break from sunbathing is needed. We have visited Las playas de Papagayo and beaches in Puerto del Carmen and Playa Honda but still prefer this local beach.
