Arreciefe isn't on first viewing the most attractive place ,however this lagoon is worth a visit with very attractive bars and restaurants surrounding the locals boats . We strolled through the market stalls and stopped for morning coffee ,then walked up the little back streets...More

Very nicely kept area around the small port with a good sélection of restaurants and eateries. Can get busy when cruise ships are docked as only a short walk from the main cruise liner terminal.

It is a pleasant 20 minute walk from El Reducto beach to the restaurant strip of the Charco. On Saturday there is a small farmers market by the church in El Charco de San Gines.

I concur with the last poster. There may well be apartments adjacent to the harbour, so I suggest you contact the tourist board in Arrecife and I am sure they will be able to give you a definitive answer. Regards... More
