A long winding drive up the mountains through cloud and rain but it is worth it when you get above the cloud line - the views are tremendous! If busy park lower down and walk up as the car park is quite small. There are...More

I tried to go on a group event for this but there was no space. I decided to just drive myself up. Although the bends are a bit tricky on occasions, the actual road is good and when you get to the top - oh...More

You just have to go here. It is a bit of a drive to get here, but the views are spectacular. Try to get here early in the morning to avoid the crowds. There are only a few parking spots on the top.

What an amazing place, it’s like being on the roof of the world and amongst the gods. Here you can take in the spectacular views I’ve La Palma. See the amazing observatories which are pitched precariously on the rim of the volcano’s crater.

Top of La Palma attractions in more ways than one! Tremendous car drive up the roads to the top. As you go up, you have sheer drops on one side and high cliffs on the other. The road is a series of tight hairpins with...More

When you are on La Palma, one of the places you definitely want to go, is this place. It is "just a mountain peak". It is the highest point on the island. And you drive through the observatory when you go up there (and all...More

#1: Be aware there is no lavatory at the viewpoint, and it's an hour drive from pretty much anywhere, so prepare accordingly. The reviews are accurate. Stunning scenery from the mountaintop above the clouds below. The clouds to the southwest appeared as a waterfall spilling...More

Stunning views, great air quality and incredible to watch the halo of clouds beneath us. Lovely shades of colours and interesting plants to observe. Not difficult to walk around on the top either. We were on an excursion so went via bus to the top...More

On the way up, the cardinal carpet of needles, enveloping the ground throughout the pine forest, makes an enjoyable drive to the top. This was our second attempt, the first having ended in descending clouds and no views; this time it was worth it. We...More
