Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Well worth a visit if you are in the area, and if you are feeling brave, a swim too, though in all reality it's hard to swim a lot of the time unless you are a very strong swimmer. The noise of the waves can be astounding. If you can, visit at dusk as the sunsets can make it very spectacular

A pool built onto the rocks and filled naturally with the sea water that breaks over the edges.
Creates a safe swimming area without taking much away from the superb setting. (When we were here the sea was pretty lively and to swim in the sea itself would be suicidal even for a strong swimmer)
And a great sun trap too. We visited in December and still got sunburnt! And the water was comfortable too. Not earn but not cold either.
The only caution is offer is to consist the tides and avoid visiting around high tide as at that time the pool is sufficiently underwater that it would probably be unsafe to take the risk of being dragged over the pool edge and out to sea ... and the rocks! By mid tide only occasional waves are breaking over the edge and so perfectly safe then.

A series of interconnected relatively large swimming pools well protected from the ocean. There are a couple of thatched huts for making BBQs including a pile of wood when we went, and a large area for sunbathing. About 100 m further along from the car park is a nice cafe that serves seafood and drinks

Loved swimming here. Truly wild and wonderful. Fresh water shower. Toilets up at car park. And kiosk nearby for a cold beer afterwards. Magic day.

This may be a nice place to have a swim in the hot months, otherwise it is only worth a 5 minute visit to look at the tidal swimming pools while visiting El Golfo. I would not suggest driving from the other side of the island to see this pool. The views back to the cliffs which ring the whole area are quite magnificent but these can be seen from other places.

We visited this coastal resort in the winter, and you can drive right up to a car park overlooking the coast. it was very quiet, and not very inviting in the water. There are however refreshments near by, and places where you can watch the waves hitting the rocks. I imagine a visit here on a nice summer's day would be very enjoyable.

Natural swimming pools with easy access, especially for the elderly. On the biggest one, you can even swim a few lengths. With chiringuito and restaurant in the parking area.
