We spent 3 days here then 4 in the souyh. We should've stayed here. We could get buses easily to loads of other towns. It was quieter than the south and had loads of nicer shopping.

The old town of Las Palmas is a lovely area for daily and evening walks. It has a lovely feel to it and it is not crowded. This is where most of the museums are located. Just let yourself stroll in the area.

There is a public parking directly at the market hall in Vegueta. Don't know the prices. It is easy to find as it is directly between the atlantic ocean and the market hall (red building) ;)
