Must see! It is like a fairytale wood. It has easy access, clean and good roads. It was cold in the woods and very very humid air.

Walk the National Park trails first. Then do other stuff on La Gomera. Everyone knows La Gomera is a superb walking destination, and that Garajonay is extraordinarily beautiful. Just look at the photos. But it can seem challenging, or you may wonder where to start....More

Interesting walking rouses in rain forest and some excellent views, especially on La Gomera and Tenerife... truly recommended to visit La Laguna Grande - raining forest. Pity, that huge part of the forest was ruined by fire.

I reached the park walking fromout the village of Hermigua. It was a nice but tough walk, very spectacular. The park itself is wonderful with its many laurisilva trees.

We had booked a week of walking on La Gomera but, knowing that the walks would be guided, had not done a lot of research beforehand. La Gomera is hilly! Walking/hiking is mostly either up a long way or down a long way with very...More

In parts it really feels like Jurrasic Park as you follow the trails through the dripping forest canape. Information boards give an overview of flora and fauna.

It's about an hour away from San Sebastian and the hire cars are not expensive. The roads are good but twisty but the scenery is wonderful.

This park has many trails. The main visitor center (Juego de Bolas) is fairly large and has some good exhibits. The other visitor center closer to El Cedro is smaller and it opens fairly early for the hikers who tend to come early to start...More

We have spent 3 days hiking in the park and it was one of the best experiences ever. We saw the park in the clear sunny weather with stunning views over valleys and rocks and last day were lucky to experience the misty forest, which...More

We hired a car once we got to La Gomera but when we go next year we're going to hire a car from Tenerife Airport and take it on the ferry. La Gomera is stunning but you need a car unless you are happy to spend time in one... More
