I'm giving it 1 purely because of the two very nice gentlemen behind the bar. Otherwise it would be zero. The only female bar server, I presume to be the landlady has to be the most rude sourfaced woman we have ever had the misfortune to meet.
We called earlier in the day to ask if they were showing the football. She was hostile in her response. I assumed she didn't like Irish people bit on reflection I'm not sure she likes anyone.
We came back to watch the game and were served by a really cheerful young man. We were delighted in the hope she had the evening off. Sadly that happiness was short lived. She appeared half an hour later and made a beeline to our table to berate us for taking stools from the bar. Im sure shes a former teacher, who believes shes still disciplining children! Two of our party are mobility impaired and needed a stool with a back. No point trying to explain that and no idea whtly it mattered that we moved them.
Finally the beer served is awful. They advertise Heineken outside and it is available in bottles. The draft beer is flat Aguila or Amstel.
If you want to be depressed on holiday then this is the place for you. Otherwise unless this rude woman retires, my advice would be to avoid.

We didn't realise when booking a hotel in Playa de Palma, the resort was mainly German. We wanted to watch football on the last day of the season but struggled to find a British bar. It was only from a recommendation by an ex-pat who we luckily came across that we found this hidden gem! The landlord (assuming it was Darren by previous reviews) was extremely welcoming & very friendly. The atmosphere was fantastic & drinks very reasonable. We would definitely return to the resort to especially visit this pub!

We came to watch the women’s World Cup final (England v Spain) as this is one of the few English bars in quite a German oriented area.
Wow! Amazingly friendly staff, feels like a home from home. Our ladies lost, but we had commiseration shots on the house which further topped off the warm welcome we had.

Absolutely recommend The Manchester Pub. Great people, great service and a lovely environment. Brilliant place to watch sport too! Great place to meet up with other Brits on holiday. Thank you Darren for the great service from you and your team we really enjoyed drinking at your Pub, that’s why we kept going back…..the pub is in Can Pastilla a resort town located in the district of Playa de Palma….the best pub in town!!!

We returned home from Can Pastilla just over a week ago and this place really made our holiday! We watched the Lionesses here twice and it was packed even during the day. Lovely place with friendly and welcoming owners - we haven’t stopped telling our family about this place since we came home. Would highly recommend if in the area

This pub made my whole holiday for me! If you want to watch any sport or just listen to some great tunes in a really friendly atmosphere then this is your place. Really friendly English family have had the place for over 30 years. Easily the best pub in C’an Pastilla! Thanks for the shots Daz. From Mat the Evertonian

The warmest of welcome, with awesome decor and fabulous drinks. This is a must go. The owners are brilliant. They treat you like old friends and make the atmosphere fantastic. We got to celebrate the Lionesses win and the owners even gave us a complimentary bottle of fizz to celebrate. Just gorgeous.

Lovely staff. Great place for English football which is rare there. Definitely would recommend to fellow Mancs and Englishmen. Many thanks to the staff had a great few visits over past few weeks!

My husband and I both love football and found this gem on Saturday night. Just off main promenade 3 mins from beach. All football shown and great range of drinks. Can sit outside or inside. Pool table and lots of seats/tables. Friendly service and fast WiFi - will be going back today!

This is the best pub in Majorca ! I go as often as I can. Always a great and friendly atmosphere. Very happy Bar Staff................. Tracey, Darren , Roy and Yvonne,
I miss the ambiance of laughter , music and especially the football matches and sport. Miss the beer and shorts ( great prices). Most well mannered staff I've come across. Hope to see you all again soon.
