This is a long drive down on very twisting roads so a small car is advisable, especially as so many coaches go up and down. My advice would be to go in the morning as most of the traffic is then all going down hill....More
This is a must do if you are in Mallorca and have a car. The drive is amazing if a little scary at times but that adds to the fun! Take a towel and swimming costume for a dip in the sea at the end....More

The tunnels are pretty narrow so you have to be careful. There was no sign that you can't take your bike, but for sure you have to walk it, not ride on it - too many people, so little space. For me the road to Sa Calobra was an adventure by car - I can't imagine going there by bike. But if you love bike - good luck :)!
