This theatre play was in Hall 1, which is well laid-out, good seating and lighting, likewise good sound. The Euskalduna Palace ladies' loos were very clean and well-equipped.

It was named the best congress palace in the world some years ago, and it's still one of the biggest theatres in Europe. It's also remarkable that there's a Michelin starred restaurant at penthouse (must go almost once).

The Palacio Euskalduna (= Basque Palace in Basque) is a multifunctional space, modernly built in an enchanting location on the river. It offers the symphonic orchestra, a conference centre, restaurants and much more. Great.

We attended a performance of Bizet's Carmen here and it was outstanding. It's located on the riverside and easy to find. A friendly bi-lingual usher kindly showed us to our seats. A really enjoyable evening in an attractive venue.
