The Plaza Porlier is in effect a point of entrance to teh Casco Viejo or Old Town. Here are two distinct buildings, the Palaces of CampoSagrado, and of Valdecarzana. Follow these through to teh Oviedo Cathedral and other interesting medieval and Renaissance buildings

Leading up to Christmas a huge christmas tree was occupying a large part of the square, next to the famous statue 'el viajero'.
