Visited in the afternoon. Loved the church, and the architecture is quite unique. There are not that many pre-romanesque churches left. We liked the vertical, laconic style. If you want to go inside to see, you must get a tour. I think the tour guide...More

I walked up there early, around 9 , and it was quiet , with no traffic or tourists. It was a nice walk but may be a bit of a challenge for others. The views are worth the effort.

The view was amazing and worth the trek. Free on Monday AM. There is a parking lot a little below the church and you can walk here and San Miguel from the lot. There are a few spots directly in front of each location.

Interesting Roman temple in a beautiful location. Worth the visit in the area. Car is needed to reach or if you are a biker, this would be a great uphill ride.

The first of two romantic chapels set up on the hill overlooking Oviedo. easy to get to by local bus and don't forget to see the second chapel a little further up hill. Interesting visitor centre with info too.
