You are bound to see this when you visit the basilica. There is nothing wrong with the fountain itself. It would be great in the Parque Goya, for example. But, in my view it is an extremely unfortunate monumental intrusion into the beautiful area in...More

It’s a nice piece of art, just unfortunate you cannot see the map from the square, and also unfortunate that the modern artpiece does not really fit with the rest of the square, which is a completely different artstyle.

Lovely by day but lit up and colour changing at night. Definitely worth stopping by to take some photos.

Really ugly fountain at the end of the Pilar Plaza near the Roman wall. Plus anyone not watching carefuly can easily fall into the shallow water. Very ugly and does not contribute anything visually to the beautiful plaza.

One of the interesting features at Plaza del Pilar, loving or hating modern interpretations will determine your view.

This is one of several points of interest in Plaza Pilar. It is interesting during the day, but I suggest you return in the evening when it is illuminated with colored lights.
