Huge basilica, must visit it when in Zaragoza. There is also a possibility to go up on one of towers for a great city view.

Huge venue, very popular/busy, atmospheric. Without trying to be dis-respectful, this would make a terrific location for a Star Wars palace. Stunning architecture. Only negative: electric candles, makes offerings to loved one seem a little commercial. A must see in Zaragoza - enjoy

We didn't get a tour, but enjoyed walking around both outside and in. There was a noon service in the small chapel we got to watch.

The big church is a mix of styles and periods. You can take pictures and strolling around in silence because there are ceremonies at the weekend. I was looking for the statue of Mary but it is quite small..so follow the people to find it...the...More

Come see and experience it! Amazing Baroque architecture with Goya’s fresco. Go at 9am when the bells toll and the music plays and go before sunset when the colours are gorgeous.

The basilica is definitely worth a visit during your stay in Zaragoza. The town itself is such wonderful place to visit, from the people, to the streets, the food, and the Pilar holds lots of historical art.

We came here at a time when a service was in. Then organ is amazing. Like most European church’s it’s beautiful inside. You could feel the guilt. Worth the walk around.

10 PM is early in Zaragoza! The lights should be going strong when you arrive. Just take a bus or taxi to the Puente de Piedra (the bridge close by), and you should get great photos.

Hi John G, I have not but, have talked to a few taxi/Uber drivers who would do this sort of thing on their spare time. In the case of Zaragoza...I don't think is necessary...all the 'old' part is in a ten block by ten block... More
