We liked the exhibits and learned a lot. We have been to several ceramic museums, many repeatedly. The building design is a pleasure. However, the air conditioner was broken or under-performing. We hurried through the last third because of the heat.

When you walk past this place you think maybe it’s a small exhibit, run commercially and associated with one if the ceramic stores, or a least I did. In fact it’s an extensive exhibit, run by the city (& free if you show your Alcázar...More

Was walking in Triana enjoying the ceramics and came across this museum. What a nice find. Very informative, well done, and inexpensive. I spent more time than I thought I would have. Sad that so many jobs associated with this industry are gone. If you...More

We went in by chance for something to do whilst waiting for some stores to open from 'siesta' and we loved it. There were excellent explanations of the pottery process (not boring) and some lovely examples of tiles etc. The entry fee is cheap and...More

While in Triana, the neighborhood of ceramics, we stopped at this store. There we were able to buy some things for us and our friends. Great place to stop and buy.

We enjoyed this museum very much, and left with a comprehensive understanding of the role of the ceramics industry in Sevilla and in Spain in different historical periods, even though it's a pretty small museum. When I was in Toledo and Madrid later, what I...More

Fascinating museum, in-depth yet easy to follow background of the process of making ceramics, and the history of the Seville potteries. Beautiful examples of tiles produced in the region, and impressive excavations of pottery kilns. Really good visit for potters and non-potters alike.
