Views of the Alcazar, cathedral, Giralda are all here. Horse-drawn carriage are parked here, and come and go frequently. This is a very pleasant place to linger and enjoy.

In between the national indies Archives building and the Giralda Cathedral, the square is nowadays used a meeting point for locals, where statues where erected by Sevillans to the Virgin to thank her for surviving the great 1755 Portugal earthquake.

This is quite central however it is not the most spectacular square I have seen. If you are strapped for time I would go elsewhere.

This is the plaza mayor that is just in front of the Cathedral. Many tours start from this point and the plaza is normally filled with people.

This is a beautiful plaza, but with so many in Seville, it's hard to set them all apart. You'll stumble upon a lot of small ones just by walking the city.

A very busy plaza but one filled with a tremendous atmosphere. We returned in the late evening and got some great photos when it was a lot quieter.
