A typical market, fresh and local food. Very colourful but all indoors. We spend around 1/2 hour there. It is not extensive, or big. A good way to spend time if looking for fresh produce.

If you are staying in Seville, this market is well worth a walk around, the array of meat, fish, fruit and vegetables is vast and beautifully displayed, there are lots of delicious things to eat and drink. It’s lovely.

A smaller Mercado for drinking....at least on Sunday. Not as extensive of an offering compared to others closer to the city center.

Typical Spanish market. To walk around and maybe buy something. It includes also a theatre, very nice musicians there. I hope they keep this place.

I thought that this market mixed fresh food market (vegetables, meats and cheeses) with mini eateries (cooked food) very well. The stalls were quite unique in that they have their name in blue tiles above them. I thought that this really added some character to...More

After many expensive meals in Seville, this was a breath of fresh air! High stools next to a fish bar, totally basic lunch with a roll of kitchen paper between us. Rather bland but fresh verdejo wine, and the best cold shrimps ever, with a...More

We found online a local Flamenco which takes place at 20.00 in the evening when the market stalls have all closed and gone home! It was absolutely fantastic, truly a non tourist flamenco. Small audience of about 30 people and the three stars on stage...More

Loved this market. Not huge, far from it, but less frenetic as a result. Usual abundance of fruits, meats and fish, and a great coffee place called Cafe Thé Tea (or similar), which itself is next to a Bodega shop so coffee, pastry, Sherry, wine...More

This market is worth exploring. It is a little off the main path of major tourist stops but its worth checking it out. The market is great place to see where locals shop for fish, cheese, wine and pastries. There is a great pasty shop...More

I don't know. We were there in October. My experience in Catholic countries or cities is that Christmas is a church and family day and businesses, for the most part, aren't open.
