Saw this church on my way to Museo-Hospital Belles Artes. A surprise to see how ornate it is. There was a service going on, but they didn’t seem to mind visitors. It’s places like this that make Seville what it is!

The Church of La Magdalena is one of the most beautiful churches in Seville. The main altar calls attention and there are several side altars which are also beautiful, with many good sculptures of the saints.

There is not much to see outside but when you enter - wow! This baroque church is very beautiful and ornate with heavy gilding. We spent quite a while admiring the interior as it has many interesting sights. There is an attractive octagonal dome.

This is one of many historic churches in Seville. Its great to see the sculptures and architecture. Sadly some restoration is needed to bring it back to its former glory.

Although relatively modern, this church is a gem. Every corner is full of interesting things to see. Can even enter behind the statue.

Visited upon opening to avoid the lines at the cathedral, so thankful we did. Spent over an hour taking in and exploring the ornate decor of the church. We were stunned by beauty upon walking in, as the outside of the church is simple and...More

I called in on this as part of a '90-minute' walk (it took me all day!) around Seville. There was a service going on, but I was welcomed in by an official/volunteer at the door who indicated I might wander round the inside, where there...More

You can access this church using your cathedral ticket and if you want to avoid the queues for cathedral tickets go here first to buy your joint entry. The exterior is not impressive and would be easy to walk past but the interior is very...More
