This old tree is captured by almost every tourist who sees it. Nothing spectacular, but the old tree has stories to tell.

A lovely park with gnarled old trees providing plenty of shade. All well maintained and a lovely area to stroll around. The odd street kiosk selling drinks and snacks (expensive prices though).

The Murillo gardens follow the wall of the Alcazar, and run pretty much from Santa Cruz to the old Tobacco factory. The large old trees (and some of them are impressively old - and are themselves worth the visit) provide a lot of shade. There...More

This is a beautiful and peaceful green space to enjoy and to take a breath away from the buzz of tourists. Take out your map and find it!

Lovely gardens and park in which to stroll and cool down. Take time to relax and chill out. But if you really want to see a magnificent park, go to the Alcazar Palace!

This park/garden is a wonderful way to get from the Santa Cruz neighborhood to Plaza Espana and avoid the craziness of the streets. Nice to see families strolling, picnicing.

Could only view the gardens through the railings as there is a sign saying that they are closed for restoration and no date for when they would re-open.

The park was oposite our hotel and we would walk hrough on our way to the city centre. What meets the eye first is the hundred's of year old Ficus trees with their great roots above the surface.
