On our first night, a Thursday, we arrived quite late in Seville. Luckily for us, Blanca Paloma tapas bar was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. After eating, we were heading back to the hotel around midnight, and noticed a load of old...More

We went on a Saturday night. Arrived at 23.30 and the place was still closed but people were queuing to get in. We went for a drink and cake back about an hour later and the place was packed. We managed to get in and...More

I was not sure what to expect before going there as all I asked to the concierge was a simple local flamenco show. We were greeted at the door by Dona Anselma herself - a Seville institution - she quickly told us where to seat...More

Great music and a lot of fun, take a good siesta because this starts late, around midnight, also only cubatas here, no wine or beers.

Get there early and queue using the front door or book a table well in advance (weeks) for big groups. Be prepared to stand if there are no seats or one in one out. Experience fine flamenco, a warm atmosphere, electric and unique. A must...More

Don't really understand why people write such bad reviews. This place is definitely worth to experience some "underground" flamenco night. Live music, great artists, dances and loads of fun. Lady Anselmana is a lovely woman even though her face doesn't say so. I don't speak...More

Excellent evening's entertainment. Some reviewers question authenticity of the art on display, I know nothing about flamenco but this was great fun, informal dance, guitar and song delivered by skillful local performers who really enjoy what they do. Again, some reviewers question friendliness, prices etc...More

First off, Anselma is an arrogant woman who acts like it's 1969 & she's running Studio 54 in NYC. If you are solo &/or dont speak Spanish, good luck - she stands at the door to deem who's worthy to come in & its a...More
