Wonderful place, full of history and beautiful ornaments and painting from across the ages. Well worth getting the audio guides. No need to book.

The cathedral is more impressive from the outside as there is too much to look at on the inside and one chapel begins to look like another. An audio guide for €3 is worth it and book on line to avoid the queues

The scale of this cathedral is hard to put into a photo but it is stunning . The tower is easily accessible with a sloping path as opposed to steps . Beautiful

This cathedral is massive. The ceiling is spectacular and the size internally is overwhelming. The smaller chapels around the sides are gaudily decorated. The orangery is stunning. The tower is quite a climb but the views are worth it. There is a €9 charge to...More

Firstly book ahead as when we went the queue went round the building and took about 30mins to navigate. Don't bet on getting an audioguide as when we were there they weren't handing them out (although they appeared to have at least 50 in the...More

The cathedral is impressive already from outside but inside I was feeling humbled in front of the stunning altarpiece and chapels with adorable ceilings. The tower of Giralda is worth the climb with magnificent views of the city and it is not too difficult because...More

Amazing cathedral and huge- every turn seems to take you to another room. Make sure you go up the Tower as views are amazing and totally worth it.

One of the biggest Cathedrals in Europe and absolutely stunning in every part. Walk up the tower (which is sloped rather than with steps apart from the last bit at the top) for some great views from the top. Definitely worth a visit for €6

It is the largest Gothic Cathedral on the planet, and the third largest Christian church so that's one part of why it's impressive. It also has great stained glass windows and the vaulted ceilings are cool. There is a very comprehensive audio guide -- it...More

Magnificent in scale, architectural detail and historical features. The mix of Moorish and Christian styles in the bell tower is remarkable. As can be seen in the photo we visited in February when the orange trees in the front courtyard were in fruit. To experience...More

We didn’t do the rooftop tour. Should have but ran out of time. Rain does not seem to stop much in Sevilla. The temperature seems to affect more than rain. I think it cooled a bit since we were there 10 days ago. If you get... More

Worshippers have their own entrance to the Cathedral. I believe that following Mass, worshippers can roam around the Cathedral. Your proposed timing (Mass, see Cathedral, see Alcazar) is the right approach. Remember that... More
