Anyone taking time to learn about Andalucía’s Moorish heritage is bound to encounter stories of the Baños Árabes. Aire de Sevilla, in the atmospheric Barrio Santa Cruz, takes the aesthetic of this ancient tradition and gives it something of a modern spa makeover. Thermal baths, hammam and Jacuzzi are on offer in a 16th-century mansion, where you can also indulge in a massage, facial and other pampering treatments. It’s open late, so it’s a nice way to relax and cleanse yourself after a day of heavy-duty sight-seeing, especially when the mercury’s been soaring.

I am a spa snob so I take spas pretty seriously. First impression was the beauty of the building and decor. It is true to its name: Ancient Baths, in every positive sense. You are literally brought back to the ancient days of Turkish baths...More

I haven't visited too many spas, but this is the best I have tried. Ambience is just spectacular, making you feel like an old time Roman senator,or like an Arab king. I took my masseur along, and she loved the experience too. Just the best and most relaxing...More

This was recommended to me by a friend and even though it was expensive, I thought I'd treat myself. I emailed the place ahead of time to see when I should book so that I would be able to see the sunset from the roof...More

I booked one hour massage and they asked me to be there 15 minutes before that. They then herd us together showing us the varieties of the baths which was quite mysterious because of the reigning darkness of everything. Instead of doing the massage first,...More

Came here for the 45min massage and bath. The staff was very disorganized and it was hard to tell where we were supposed to be and when. I didn't feel welcomed or particularly comfortable. The baths themselves were very beautiful but crowded with a lot...More

Visited with my boyfriend and we enjoyed a 15 minute massage and the thermal baths. Really romantic and we loved the flotation pool the best!! Staff don’t speak much English aside from the receptionist (who was American!) so worth learning the basics! (I.e towel etc)...More

Would highly recommend for a relaxing evening. The 90min baths and 15min massage was a great combination. The 90mins included the freedom to access a salt bath, contrast baths, bubble bath, steam room, etc... with unlimited ice water and tea for drinks. Unfortunately no access...More

On the Tuesday night we were there it started around 8pm and there was a Spanish Guitarist who was awesome and the music was appropriate for the venue - not too loud or over the top.
