We rented a car in Sevilla and drove to Doñana National Park. We parked in El Rocio and walked to the visitors’ center (which was closed). From there, we strolled on the boardwalks to the bird blinds in the late afternoon until sunset. What a...More

Visiting Donana was a wonderful break from visiting the (amazing) alcazars and cathedrals of Andalucia. While you can take self-guided walking tours for some areas of the park, most of it is accessible only by way of tours and the beach/dunes area is only available...More

We visited and did hikes at all the visitor centers on our own--I really didn't want to be stuck in a 4x4 for four hours, just getting out to take pictures. It was delightful, energizing, and fun to follow our own schedule, plus we saw...More

We booked a two day tour with Naturanda (it was available on the Spanish, not English part of the website) and it was well worth every penny. We started early in the morning with a knowledgeable guide. We were taken to see storks, flamingos and...More

If you want to do one of the many tours on offer, choose carefully. The only company that includes all of the different habitats in its itinerary is the one based at the El Acebuche Visitors Centre. Only they can drive on the beach, for...More

We walked as far as we were allowed on a boardwalk. Some information boards had English explanations but not all. We saw storks on their nests and various waterfowl from bird hides. There was plenty of parking. After our walk we stopped for a light...More

Hi - I don't think it is possible but at the visitors centre there is a live television link to the breeding centre. The nearest you will get to the lynx is on a tv screen, I think.

We had a car so we drove. It's about 50km from Huelva to the Park Office at El Acebuche, thus a taxi may be expensive.
