I came here after Venta el Gallo was recommended to me by a local who grew up in Granada. He assured me that this was THE most authentic cave location to enjoy a flamenco night without being ripped off. Totally thrilled I got my ticket...More

The performance, which lasted about an hour, was very powerful. The dancers were clearly deeply involved in the music. The flamenco dancing (without castanets - they're not traditional in this region) was excellent, and the dominant emotion in the music (from a non-expert) seemed to...More

We had front row seats, booked through our hotel. The performance was spectacular and the dinner before was excellent too. It was a nice, laid back evening. The hotel management is very courteous and friendly. Felt like an authentic southern Spain experience.

Do not eat dinner here. Food is not good- best thing was the bread. The flamenco seemed good but I have nothing to compare it to as it was a first time. Very small place so if you are not in front you can’t really...More

My partner and I loved the show and the tapas beforehand on the terrace with panoramic views of Alhambra. We found the staff charming, especially our Brazilian waiter. The dancing was breathtaking with all showing true emotion. An evening to remember and recommended.

The staff is incredibly rude. It’s obvious they’re there for the money and the numbers. The dancing was average. Don’t recommend.

We've seen a lot of flamenco performances from bars in the backs streets of Andalusia to full on stage performances at Sadlers Wells. The performers on our night at Venta El Gallo we're among the best we've seen. A well co-ordinated performance with great musicians...More

It is a short show of about 45mn to 1h with typical falmenco dancers and singers. The chairs are unbeleivably uncomfortable and it is almost impossible to see properly dancers. Other than that the show is really typical.
