A place to visit on your way to the party. Not too easy to find, hidden away from tourists. Friendly Spanish speaking guests and busy bar men in white. Choice of various aperitif and other drinks direct from the cask. Your bill written in chalk...More

It’s an interesting place to pop in and see what an ancient bar looked like. The wines are OK, the limited selection of tapas is tasty although overpriced. The service on the other hand is unfriendly to downright rude. So, once you’ve seen it there...More

We dropped on this old bar by chance, but then went every night. Everything from the barrel and very cheap. Very friendly staff who wrote your bill in chalk on the bar. This kind of place is what you come to the real Spain for....More

And it is different with Malaga dulce wine served from the barrel and the barrels make a unique surroundings. Seems like nothing has changed here in 100 years, not even the barman

Went there with friends after seeing decent reviews could not believe how uninterested or bored the man serving us was .really poor experience shame because malaga was otherwise brilliant .honestly regretted viking where there are far better places to experience great local wines

After reading the reviews we thought we would try this for some local colour. It is everything it was cracked up to be. Grumpy barman who tells you what you want (think League of Gentlemen, "local wines for local people"), fortified wines in barrels behind...More

Outstanding! The smells and tastes here are incredible! The Moscatel, Vermut, and Pedro Ximenez were simply exquisite! Locals love this place and now we know why. The bar-men are not exactly chatty but if you hang in here for a few tastings they’ll warm up...More

This is a typical bodega. It is standing and it serves a limited number of tapas. It is not a restaurant.
