This was a great place to mooch around and people watch. There are lots of shops, although many are part of chains rather than individual ones. One downside, when it's wet, it's slippery because of all the wonderful marble which looks great but feels dangerous...More

The christmaslights were amazing in the street and made you feel like the street was indoors. Nice shops.

We were looking forward to returning to La Calle Larios after nearly ten years. I remember it was a great place to shop and wander around. We bought a lot of lovely and memorable things then. However, my recent experience left me disappointing, as some...More

This was one of the biggest reasons why we picked Malaga as our winter vacation destination: the Christmas lights. Someone said that they are the best in Andalusia if not in whole Spain. He was right. The lights are beautiful, the popular twice a night...More

I.m not a great fan of shopping but this wide, pedestianised, marble-paved street makes it more tolerable.

Great Christmas decorations when it's that time of year, well worth putting up with the large crowds that gather there when they are up.

For the Christmas period the archway if lights in Calle Lario's bursts in musical life at 18.30 and 21.00 hrs. Large crowds of people gather for this amazing light show which lasts for about 10 minutes. In the centre towards either end of the archway...More

This is a lovely street to wander down as part of a trip to old Malaga. Lovely selection of shops and a nice ice-cream shop too. Very pretty Christmas decorations - gets busy around 6.30 when there is a light switching on show.

It seems that this street is the main shopping street in Malaga. The Christmas decoration is really an eye-catcher. You find a lot branded shops on this street. At some side streets you will see some artworks
