I’m not a big Picasso fan, but being in Málaga I had to visit it. The exhibition is not very big, it consists mainly of photos, copies of portraits of him and his family and a few of his doings. As I said I am...More

This small museum is very tasteful showing a wide range of Picasso's work, paintings, sculptures, ceramics and metal. Not overwhelming with some informative text as well as some of Picasso's very early paintings and drawings.

You might not like some of his art but you can see a good cross section here. We found that some of his early work, his sculpture, ceramics and cartoons were enjoyable. The most spectacular part of the visit was the archeological section in the...More

We visited the Picasso museum in Malaga as it was included in our tour. Not really a fan but happy to say we have been. There were one or two pieces which we could admire though.

I happen to like Picasso, so this was a particular treat. The 9 Euro entry charge includes a very good audio tour while most other museums charge extra for the audio tour. It takes a couple of hours to properly tour the museum without rushing....More

A nice collection of some of Picasso’s lesser known works. The gift shops have some interesting gift options. An unexpected highlight was the Phoenician ruins in the basement, discovered during the buildings renovation.

If you are in or near Malaga this is something not to miss. This is a large collection of Picasso and the cost is very reasonable. A few hours of your time will be well rewarded. The lines around midday tend to be the longest....More

In the central tourist area. Great ambience and lots of Picasso's work to see. Fellini (Frederico the movie director) has work exhibited also in the museum. Handheld to ear electronic equipment allows you to hear dialogue on different areas of the exhibits. Can't take pictures...More

I don’t know. But obtaining tickets for Picasso are not like obtaining tickets for the Alhambra. We just walked in.

There was a queue when we went, but it was quick enough, we didn't wait long.
