Best 3 euro therapy you can have!

Stunning place. Quite small but enormous amount to look at. Wonderful smell and atmosphere. A little bit of heaven. Book a slot online or by phone (very friendly) and it's literally just above the shops so no planning needed. 3 euro entry for adults.

Perfect for plant lovers

For the low entry fee of €3 you can’t really go wrong here. As I visited during covid period we had the whole building to ourselves. Unfortunately they didn’t have the full 3-tier waterfall on, but it was beautiful anyway. Loved seeing all the different orchids.

Amazing building and plantings
Feb 2020 • Couples
The orquidario is closed on Monday but we returned Tuesday ay 13.50 only to find it closed from 14.00 until 15.00
for lunch but we went back and were amazed at the landscaping inside which included a tall waterfall. There were thousands of orchids planted but they are a capricious plant so dont expect to see numerous blooms but look above your head and into the fauna and you will see lots hiding

An oasis in a lovely town
Feb 2020
I have been visiting Estepona yearly for over twenty years but had never discovered this little gem. Two hours to kill before our flight and only 3€ entry we thought we'd give it a go. Thoughtfully laid out and displayed, it presented a stunning oasis in the middle of the town. Although not too many flowers were open, there were enough to enjoy and actually made it a place we shall re-visit at other times of the year. The addition of the Palms and waterfall gave it a magical feel. My one recommendation? A few more fish in the pond (maybe Carp?) Highly recommended!

Stunning Orchidarium
Oct 2019
You simply must visit this place if at all interested in plants!
For 3 euros entrance fee this is well worth it. The variety of plants is almost overwhelming but turn the corner and you are confronted but the water feature, and what a feature!

Orange trees and Orchids
Feb 2020
Well worth a visit. The lift kind to those with mobility problems.Flowers outstanding. Was given a free town map at the desk.Over coffee in near-bye cafe could plan our stroll down to the sea while admiring the orange trees heavy with fruit. Some of the wall murals were very near the Orquidario great if unable to walk far.

A bargain well worth the time
Jan 2020
I am an orchid enthusiast and was surprised by the range of orchids present. Staff were very friendly. I would advise about an hour for your visit. Be aware that orchids are seasonal so not all will be in bloom whenever you visit. Look carefully for the tiny delights or you will miss many of them. I only wish I could visit regularly to see all as they bloom. A little more information would be great explaining plants normal habitats. Will definitely visit again

A tale of precious Orchids
Jan 2020 • Couples
This Orchidarium is probably one of the most beautiful places I have been too. The orchids are housed in an incredibly stunning building which is full of light and air and pleasant to the eye. There were a lot of orchids in Flower and the variety was spectacular. What a treat to see these beautiful plants, flowers and how they are kept in this incredible habitat.
It is worth 1-2 hrs to visit this place. The curator is Spanish but speaks perfect English. He was busy looking after his orchids, but he found time to talk to us.
What an experience it was.
This Orchidarium is a must to visit.
5* and more if I could.
Muchísimas gracias por todo.

Good design
Dec 2019
This has the potential to be a great asset to Estepona but for us it was just the wrong time of year. There were only a couple of Orchids in flower and although there were other plants and features it was not really worth a visit in December. I think they could have made more effort to provide out of season interest or even not charge the full price out of season. We have seen many displays of Orchids all over the world but this does not really meet the standards we have observed elsewhere.
