Arrived, for the first time, in an ancient port city so didn't expect much of the beach. Wrong! It's Blue Flag, beautifully kept and studded with facilities and places to eat and drink. Send her Victorious!

A vast sandy beach. Unfortunately there are very few loungers & Umbrellas for hire. Some nice beach bars but pricey. Not too crowded.

A lovely wide and clean beach, heavily populated by locals on the weekend. The Atlantic Ocean was warm in mid September following the extremely hot summer and I walked in three days in a row. Peter

Amazing soft sand, nice chiringuitos, loungers at €6. Not the best surroundings but otherwise great. Better than the small beach in downtown Cádiz.

Vast sandy expanse that leads to the refreshing and clean Atlantic. Populated at the weekends by huge Spanish family groups based under a forest of sun umbrellas. It can be windy so a sun lounger is a chair is advisable. Food and drink sellers walk...More

Fantastic white sand beach, with all the installations you can think of, bars to eat, just have a tapa or a cocktail, all with reasonable prices. It’s facing west, so sunsets are spectacular. Nice to see in any of the chiringuito (beach bar) with a...More

We loved spending time on the Playa Victoria. The Water is deeply blue. The sand is soft and hot. Keep your flip flops near, maybe. The people of Cadiz come out to the beach and this is a wonderful city. The people are beautiful and...More

Urban beach close to city centre. Long and sandy, family friendly but no shade. Visited in July but not overcrowded. Good atmosphere.

Victoria offers everything: restaurant, sunbeds, space. Only a few steps beyond Playa de Santa Maria, and with plenty of space if you want to have a less crowded beach. Obviously far more space than La Caleta.

Renting of sunbeds and parasols was possible to make at a separate supplier (not at the hotel; they regerred to another supplier close to the beach). I got the impression that it was not necessary to book sunbeds and... More
