It was a pleasant although not a special beach and has the castle to one end and is reasonably close to the center of town. Worth a visit if you are at that end of Cadiz.

A pretty arch of soft sand, a shallow tide, rock pools to adventure and a pretty cafe bar for refreshments.....what is not to like? Showers, toilets and changing cubicles make this perfect

La Caleta Beach and the many small boats anchored in the little bay provide a great setting for watching the sun go down.

Very popular place, walking distance from centre, and nice beach. But the access is under works, so not exactly the right moment to visit.

Stopped for a paddle as we walked the sea front. Beach was clean and popular with the natives. It provided easy access to the beach and water fountains to wash the sand from your feet.

My wife and I walked across the beach between the 2 fortresses that guard the bay, built in the 17th century. It makes for a lovely walk as you head out to the headland and SAN Sebastián Castle, which isn’t open to visitors due to...More
