This is truly a tranquil space along the city walls with peaceful moving waters. We visited here in the 40 degree heat and were able to pop our feet into the cool water and enjoy the beautiful architecture.

This street runs along the city wall starting at Puerta de Almodóvar. Along the walkways are ponds and fountains. It was hot and sunny when I was there in the late morning. May be better to drop by in late afternoon or early evening for...More

The old city wall, fountains and plants. Just stroll by and get lost in the magic of the place. Better still if you can visit at night.

You get a great view of the walls of Cordoba and there are some interesting water features and worth a stroll.

The city wall and water gardens are all on display here. Its a real delight to wander down the street, admire the walls, the water flowing through and then drift down to the river. Its really evocative but can get very hot during the summer.

The name of the street comes from the twinned cities; Cairuan in Tunisia and Cordoba in Spain. Do not miss Averroes Statue (Ibn Rushed) the great Muslim philosopher.

It is a very cool walking area, cool because of all the water and the green. It is located just outside the city wall and along the wall self. Don't miss this place.

Cordoba is not a large city so there is no real need to take a short cut, I guess this could be used as one though if the need arose. It is essentially a road bordering the old city wall with landscaped gardens and water...More

This was part of our guided tour of Cordoba. It is along a section of the Old Wall, with beautiful landscaping, greenery and a water feature. Picture perfect!
