There is not an awful lot to be said about this tower except it is part of the overall canvas of the area. It is all too easy to walk by without remembering just how much effort, labour and engineering skill went into creating this...More

I have pretty strong views about what makes a museum really bad (as in other reviews). And this place is very bad, but with three redeeming virtues. It is a small museum – if it is a museum at all. Actually, let’s start there: is...More

Yes, theres a few nice prayer mats on display, but its all a bit pointless. The audio guide is dreadful and theres a model of the Mesquite all lit up...but you've got the real thing to visit just across the river! Didn't learn anything new...More

I don't know whether we missed something with the museum but it was basically a load of nonsense. They had some figures and miniature farmland and the audioguide wasn't very informative... the top two rooms housed miniatures of the Alhambra which we'd seen two days...More

We were in Cordoba for only a few hours mainly with the intention of going on a guided tour of the Mezquita Mosque/Cathedral. While we passed the Calahorra Tower on our way across the Roman bridge we didn't enter it. At this point I didn't...More

Calahorra Tower is definitely the best spot in Córdoba to have an impressing global view of the historic city center with the dominating Mezquita, as well as the Roman Bridge.

A well presented exhibition overwhelmed by an overly long, loud and dull audio guide. Give me something to read anytime. The only time I’ve found audio guides that come on automatically to work well was in the Reichtag. But that is Germany this is Spain....More

The view from the top of the tower is spectacular though the museum is not anything to write home about. Just a collection of models, oddly at no point anything about the history of the tower is mentioned though there is a room with a...More

Cheap but a bit too over the top in its presentation. The way you are provided with an audio guide is good. However a simpler explanation of the history of the building and Cordoba would have been better. Instead you lose interest as the audio...More

Very noticeable tower on the river bank which has been refurbished in recent years. This is located by he old bridge as you walk to the old town.

The tower gives a great view of the city but I think that the most important thing is the way the museum is structured staying true to its educational purpose. Worth every cent...
